Rock bands and the music industry are rich with absurdity. Music and Lyrics has a washed-up 1980s pop star teaming up with a lyricist, The Rocker has a former drummer fronting his nephew’s band, and Josie and the Pussycats has an all-girl band signed by a shady label. Bandslam, Airheads and CB4 round out the six.
