About Movieix

Vlad Zakh founded Movieix because the usual movie recommendation sites never seemed to know what he actually wanted to watch. So the lists here are sorted the way people really choose: by actor, by country, by mood, by occasion. The idea is simple. Find something that suits your evening, then get on with watching it, rather than scrolling a streaming app for twenty minutes.

Behind each list there is real checking: cast and release details, ratings from one consistent source, and tags that say what a film is actually like.

What we publish

Hand-picked movie lists, guides to cinema from different countries, genre and decade collections, and the best films from actors and actresses.

Editorial standards

Every list gets checked before it goes live, and if a reader spots a mistake we fix it. Movieix doesn't host, upload or distribute films. It's an information site, nothing more.

Independence

Movieix runs independently. We aren't tied to any studio, streaming service or distributor unless a page says otherwise. For questions, corrections or partnerships, head to our Contact page.
