6 Best One-Shot and Continuous Take Movies

By Vlad Zakh · June 9, 2026

The technical daring of a single unbroken shot, whether real or cleverly disguised, has produced some of cinema’s most immersive and tension-filled films. In Rope (1948): Two young men host a dinner party in the same apartment where they have just committed a murder. Equally memorable is Victoria (2015): A young Spanish woman’s chance encounter with four Berlin locals spirals into an increasingly dangerous night.
