The unconditional loyalty of a beloved dog has powered some of cinema’s most enduring and tear-jerking family classics. In Hachi: A Dog’s Tale (2009): A loyal dog waits at the train station every day for his deceased owner’s return for the rest of his life. Also notable is Lassie Come Home (1943): A devoted collie sold to a distant estate embarks on an incredible journey home to her boy.
