6 Best Ice Cream Parlor Movies of All Time

By Vlad Zakh · April 4, 2026

The neighborhood ice cream parlor and summer job counter has served as a sweet, nostalgic backdrop for coming-of-age comedies. In Meet Me in St. Louis (1944): A St. Louis family navigates young romance and the prospect of an unwanted move in the year before the World’s Fair. Equally memorable is Adventureland (2009): A recent college graduate takes a dead-end summer job at a rundown amusement park.
