6 Best Golf Movies of All Time

By Vlad Zakh · August 19, 2026

Golf films are mostly about redemption and the long walk between shots. The Greatest Game Ever Played tells of a working-class amateur challenging his idol at the 1913 U.S. Open, The Legend of Bagger Vance has a war-traumatized golfer rediscovering his game with a mysterious caddy, and Seven Days in Utopia finds a struggling golfer healed by a Texas rancher. A Gentleman’s Game, The Caddy and Follow the Sun round out the six.
