Blacksmiths are the stuff of legend, and this list stretches from medieval tales to folk horror. Errementari has a reclusive smith who once captured a demon, The Man with the Iron Fists puts one at the center of a gold heist in ancient China, and Gunless drops a wanted gunslinger into a peaceful Canadian town. Cousin Jules quietly follows an elderly French blacksmith, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court and an 1893 short close out the list.
