Comedy feel goodthought provoking
Vittorio Gassman brought booming, theatrical charisma to Italian cinema, equally at home in broad comedy and searing drama. Il Sorpasso drags a shy student on a reckless road trip, We All Loved Each Other So Much follows three resistance friends drifting apart, Scent of a Woman sends a blind, embittered officer on a weekend with his caretaker, and A Wedding unfolds a chaotic wealthy ceremony. Big Deal on Madonna Street and Bitter Rice round out the list.
