6 Best Slim Pickens Movies

By Vlad Zakh · August 8, 2026

Slim Pickens brought an authentic rodeo cowboy’s drawl and larger-than-life presence to Hollywood, equally at home in westerns and broad comedy. Dr. Strangelove, Blazing Saddles and The Getaway show the range, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid hunts an old friend, and The Howling finds a remote retreat harbouring something terrifying. The Cowboys rounds out the list.
