6 Best Roman Bohnen Movies

By Vlad Zakh · July 22, 2026

Roman Bohnen brought a weathered, naturalistic intensity to Hollywood and became a respected character actor in some of the era’s most acclaimed dramas. The Best Years of Our Lives follows three veterans home, Brute Force plots a desperate prison escape from a sadistic captain, The Song of Bernadette meets a peasant girl’s visions with scepticism, and The Strange Love of Martha Ivers resurfaces a childhood guilty secret.
