6 Best Robert Montgomery Movies

By Vlad Zakh · January 28, 2026

Robert Montgomery brought charming, versatile range to Hollywood, moving convincingly between light comedy and unsettling psychological drama. Here Comes Mr. Jordan gives a boxer a new body, Mr. & Mrs. Smith discovers a marriage was never valid, They Were Expendable fights a desperate PT boat action in the Philippines, and Lady in the Lake tells a detective’s case entirely from his point of view.
