Robert Downey Jr. – 10 Best Movies

By Vlad Zakh · January 21, 2026

Iron Man rebuilt his career and launched the MCU, but Chaplin, decades earlier, showed the same total commitment that eventually made Tony Stark work, and Oppenheimer finally earned him the Oscar. Natural Born Killers makes him a tabloid journalist chasing fame, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a sharp, underseen noir comedy, Oppenheimer plays a calculating rival with real menace, and Zodiac plays a jittery journalist. Tropic Thunder, Sherlock Holmes, The Avengers and Avengers: Endgame round out the list.
