6 Best Rex Ingram Movies

By Vlad Zakh · July 26, 2026

Rex Ingram broke barriers as one of Hollywood’s most commanding Black actors and brought gravitas and power to landmark roles across five decades. The Thief of Bagdad helps a young thief defeat a vizier, Sahara makes a stand in the desert, The Ten Commandments leads Moses out of Egypt, and Elmer Gantry follows a salesman reinvented as a fire-and-brimstone preacher. The Green Pastures and The King of Kings round out the list.
