7 Best Julie Andrews Movies

By Vlad Zakh · January 12, 2026

Julie Andrews became one of the defining voices and faces of the movie musical almost overnight, and her later films showed a wit and range far beyond the wholesome image that made her famous. Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music are the classics, Victor/Victoria has a singer posing as a male drag performer in Paris, 10 triggers a songwriter’s midlife crisis, Thoroughly Modern Millie chases a husband in 1920s New York, and The Princess Diaries makes a shy teenager heir to a throne. Torn Curtain rounds out the list.
