6 Best Gladys Blake Movies

By Vlad Zakh · April 7, 2026

Gladys Blake brought a chatty, wisecracking comic presence to Hollywood and frequently played gossiping friends and secretaries. Woman of the Year tests a columnist’s marriage to a sportswriter, Johnny Eager poses a racketeer as reformed, I Love You Again returns an amnesiac con man to a dull businessman’s identity, and Broadway Melody of 1940 pits two dancers for one role. The Women and You Can’t Take It with You round out the list.
