6 Best Fredric March Movies

By Vlad Zakh · January 18, 2026

Fredric March moved easily between horror, melodrama and searing social drama and became one of the most respected leading men of Hollywood’s golden age. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the horror landmark, The Best Years of Our Lives follows three veterans readjusting at home, Death of a Salesman faces an ageing salesman’s failures, Inherit the Wind dramatises the evolution trial, and Seven Days in May confronts a planned military coup. A Star Is Born (1937) rounds out the list.
