6 Best Frank McHugh Movies

Frank McHugh brought cheerful, easily excitable comic energy to Hollywood and became one of the most reliably funny supporting players of the 1930s and 40s. 42nd Street and Footlight Parade are the early musicals, Dodge City cleans up a lawless town, The Roaring Twenties follows a bootlegger’s rise and fall, One Foot in Heaven follows a minister’s decades of small-parish life, and State Fair brings a farm family romance.
