6 Best Elisha Cook Jr. Movies

By Vlad Zakh · August 12, 2026

Elisha Cook Jr. brought a nervous, twitchy energy to Hollywood across seven decades, often cast as small-time hoods and doomed underdogs. Rosemary’s Baby has a pregnant woman suspecting her neighbours, One-Eyed Jacks sends a bank robber after the partner who betrayed him, The Champ gives a washed-up boxer a comeback for his son, and 1941 lets wartime paranoia grip Los Angeles. Don’t Bother to Knock and Hellzapoppin’ round out the list.
