Comedy feel good

Dorothy Lamour became one of Paramount’s biggest stars of the 1940s, best remembered for her sarong roles and the hugely popular Road to… comedies. Road to Singapore, Road to Zanzibar, Road to Morocco and Road to Bali are those, with con artists, desert intrigue and sunken treasure. My Favorite Brunette mistakes a baby photographer for a detective, and The Hurricane rounds out the list.
