10 Best Indian Movies to Watch

By Vlad Zakh · August 4, 2025

India makes more films a year than anywhere else, and this list shows the spread: a courtroom satire, a crime saga, a three-hour cricket epic and a maximalist action spectacle that became a global crossover hit. Court uses a folk singer’s absurd trial to expose the legal system’s pace, Article 15 confronts caste violence in a police procedural, and The Lunchbox links two strangers through handwritten notes. Queen sends a jilted bride on her honeymoon alone. Gangs of Wasseypur, Lagaan, RRR, Dangal, 3 Idiots and Andhadhun round out the list.
