Antonio Banderas – 10 Best Movies

By Vlad Zakh · February 23, 2026

Antonio Banderas started as one of Pedro Almodovar’s favorite actors before Hollywood made him an action star, and Pain and Glory brought him back to where he began, far more acclaimed. The Skin I Live In is an Almodovar revenge thriller with a body-horror twist, Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico are his Mariachi movies, and Puss in Boots leans into his Zorro-ish charm. Assassins, Evita, Law of Desire, The Mask of Zorro and Philadelphia round out the list.
