6 Best Alan Napier Movies

By Vlad Zakh · July 7, 2026

Alan Napier brought a distinguished, dignified presence to Hollywood over five decades, and a new generation knew him as Alfred the butler in TV’s Batman. Mary Poppins has the magical nanny at a stuffy London banker’s house, Macbeth and Julius Caesar bring Shakespearean ambition, and The Song of Bernadette follows a young French girl’s vision. Madame Curie and Random Harvest round out the list.
