1970 was a memorable year, from army surgeons in MAS*H to the big-war spectacle of Patton and Kelly’s Heroes. Beneath the Planet of the Apes has an astronaut finding a mutant society worshipping a doomsday bomb, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage is a giallo about an American writer in Rome, and The Aristocats has a scheming butler abandoning a Parisian cat family. They Call Me Trinity and Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion round out the eight.
