Music schools and talent scouts inspire stories of mentorship and discovery. Fame follows young performers at a competitive New York performing arts school, School of Rock has a substitute teacher secretly training a band, and August Rush has an orphaned boy using his talent to find his parents. Sing Street, Music of the Heart and Mr. Holland’s Opus round out the six.
