6 Best Restaurant and Chef Movies

By Vlad Zakh · May 30, 2026

Professional kitchens are fiery and high-pressure, and so are the films about them. Burnt has a disgraced chef chasing a third Michelin star, The Hundred-Foot Journey sets an Indian family’s restaurant across from a French rival, and Chef has a frustrated cook starting a food truck. Bottle Shock, No Reservations and Ratatouille round out the six.
