6 Best Modern Parenthood Comedy Movies

By Vlad Zakh · May 29, 2026

Modern parenting is exhausting and hilarious, usually at the same time. This Is 40 has a couple approaching forty facing money and age fears, Daddy’s Home has a mild stepfather competing with the cool dad, and Jersey Girl has a widowed publicist giving up career ambitions to raise his daughter. The Family Stone, Big Daddy and Parenthood round out the six.
