6 Best Evil Twin and Double Persona Movies

By Vlad Zakh · June 10, 2026

A sinister double is horror’s oldest trick, and these films do it in nasty ways. Dead Ringers has identical twin gynecologists spiraling into obsession, Goodnight Mommy has twin boys suspecting the bandaged woman at home isn’t their mother, and The Dark Half gives a novelist’s pen name a murderous life of its own. Basket Case, Sisters and The Other add their own twists.
