6 Best Art Heist and Forgery Movies

Art theft and forgery combine intellectual gamesmanship with old-fashioned crime, and these films use that mix for maximum stylish fun. In How to Steal a Million (1966): A woman recruits a burglar to steal her own father’s forged sculpture before it’s exposed as fake. Just as strong is The Best Offer (2013): A reclusive auctioneer’s methodical life is upended by a mysterious client and a suspicious series of forged paintings.
