11 Best Concert Films of All Time

By Vlad Zakh · December 26, 2025

A great concert film is more than a camera pointed at a stage. The best ones are cut with real care, so you know when to look at the crowd and when to shut up and let the music play. Monterey Pop catches acts just before they turned into legends, Gimme Shelter shows the Rolling Stones’ free 1969 gig sliding into real violence, and The Last Waltz gives the Band a proper farewell with a few rock legends along for the ride.
